Hydroxypropyl starch ether (HPS) is a white fine powder obtained from natural plants through modification, high etherification and spray drying, without plasticizer. It is completely different from ordinary starch or modified starch.

Solubility: It can dissolve in water and become a transparent solution
Viscosity (5% aqueous solution, 20 ℃): 500-20000 mPa. s
PH value (2% aqueous solution): 8-10.5
